“Everything about this retreat was just perfect for me. The beautiful accommodation with views of the mountain and dams, the fantastic vegetarian food, thank-you talented Thompson family! The best cotton sheets, the spectacular views, the attention to detail in every possible way! The happy animals from the pets to the owls, bats, toads and praying mantis created a much needed sanctuary for me. When land us in symbiosis there is a balance, hence a large variety of birds, and no mosquitos regardless of all the water. It’s truly a special place. Sharon has a real gift in effortlessly helping people reconnect with nature and themselves. I loved all of it. Thank you from my heart. I’ll be back.”
“If I could describe my retreat weekend at Hemel en Aarde cottages, it would be one of connectedness. To nature. To inspiration. To insightfulness. To beauty. It feels as if this weekend has added the “missing ingredient”to the connections between my mind, body and attitude. My favourite moments were at sunrise in the labyrinth. Oh….and ps….the food was….well….FABULOUS! Thank you Sharon.
