On entering Hermanus, turn left at the traffic light indicating R320 Hemel en Aarde Valley. There will be an Engen Filling Station on the diagonally opposite right-hand side.

Proceed up the Hemel en Aarde Valley in the direction of Caledon past the Hamilton Russel; Bouchard Finlayson; La Vierge; Hasher Estate and Newton Johnson Wine Estates.

After 10km, turn left at the ‘Haygrove Heaven’ sign and proceed down the tar road for about 80m and then take the right fork off the tar road onto gravel entrance road at the ‘Coch Y Bondhu’ sign towards the galvanized steel gate.

Enter the code in the keypad on the left hand upright of the gate and proceed along the fence to the next gate. PLEASE ADHERE TO THE SPEED LIMIT OF 20KPH THROUGH THE VINEYARD and proceed cautiously over the speed bumps.

Enter the same code in the second gate and follow the track down to the 'Thompson' property. Do not turn left into either of the first two houses on the left-hand side.

Proceed through the manual gate and follow the driveway down to your cottage parking area. Don't be worried about the three dogs (2 Vizlas and 1 Schnauzer) that will probably be the first to greet you - they get excited but are harmless.
